Here is where you come in as a Regulatory Compliance Associate. Your collaboration with Quality Assurance, Security, and Production departments to perform internal audits regularly will determine compliance in accordance to the Cannabis Regulations.
Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Asset Development stakeholders to provide regulatory insight into potential physical expansion areas.
Drafting license applications and license amendment applications.
Assist in regulatory reporting and accurate record keeping via the Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System (CTLS).
Collaboratively assist regulatory projects across multiple departments.
Communicating regulatory changes or notifications to departments and individuals within the organization.
Continuous research of the evolving regulatory environment to assist management and the company in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Assist Compliance department in preparing for and during Regulatory audits (Health Canada, CRA, and Supplier).
Maintaining and harbouring a positive working relationship with Regulatory bodies.

YOUR BRAND, YOUR STORY
We already know you love working on Regulatory projects, but we want to know more about your strengths. You’re good at the following:
Bachelor’s Degree (Commerce, Law, Chemistry, Plant Sciences).
2-3 years experience in a highly regulated industry (Cannabis, Pharma, Alcohol, Government, Health).
Knowledge and a keen interest of the Cannabis Act and Cannabis Regulations that apply to license holder.
Excellent MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro knowledge as well as experience working with Business Intelligence software.
Excellent attention to detail, comfortable with regulatory research, and very well organized.
Incredible at managing your time while working on multiple projects and flexible enough to meet ad hoc regulatory requirements of the licensed site.
Must have the ability to obtain and pass a RCMP Criminal Record Check and maintain security clearance.
