QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE

Here is where you come in as a Quality Assurance Associate. You will support, drive and monitor all quality system aspects for Pure Sunfarms. You will act as an official QAP as defined in the Cannabis Act and be able to pass Health Canada security clearance.
Monitor and provide guidance to production personnel with compliance to GPP and GMP.
Perform internal and external quality audits; coordinate and prepare site for Health Canada and other regulatory inspections.
Ensure that documentation, complaints, deviations, non-conformances, investigations, corrective and preventative actions and change control are performed according to quality and regulatory requirements.
Provide insight to improve processes and practices to ensure manufacturing quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized.
Perform material review and determine batch disposition.
Assist with developing standard measurements for processes to be compared against.
Write standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist with training staff.
Other duties as required.

YOUR BRAND, YOUR STORY
We already know you love working with quality, but we want to know more about your strengths. Your qualifications include the following:
Technical Diploma, Bachelor of Science or relevant degree in the biological, food, biochemical or chemical sciences.
1-2years of direct quality assurance experience in a food, pharma or natural health product GMP regulated consumer products industry.
Familiar with Health Canada’s GPP, GMP, Cannabis Act and Food and Drug Act regulations.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
Act with minimal supervision.
Highly team oriented with excellent people interaction and good communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work and utilize multiple software tools.
Must have the ability to obtain and pass a RCMP Criminal Record Check and maintain security clearance.
